TWO men from the area are currently walking around the Cornish coastal path to raise money for the Ellie's Haven charity. Jimmy Alexander and Lee Gilbert are trekking 263 miles around the coast of Cornwall in just 17 days. They started their walk on Tuesday, May 6, at Mount Edgcumbe Park and will finish on Thursday at Crackington. The event started with a charity auction at the Noughts and Crosses Pub in Polperro, which raised more than £2,000. Jimmy is aiming to collect more than £15,000 in total, and donations can be made via the website http://www.jimmywalkscornwall.org">www.jimmywalkscornwall.org
