IT was the announcement most pundits in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League expected when it was revealed that former Torpoint boss Stuart Dudley had agreed to join the first-team management team at Saltash United.

Dudley, who had just completed a great season at The Mill that saw his side reach the last eight of the FA Vase and finish fourth in the Peninsula Premier Division, had quoted an increased workload and family commitments as his reason for departing Torpoint.
