A meeting due to take place today to discuss a major dredge dumping programme has been opened to the public after pressure from campaigners.
Initially the meeting at Millbrook Village Hall was a closed meeting, open only to those who had officially protested against the scheme.
Among those invited were campaigner Dave Peake and local MP Sheryll Murray.
Many others had planned to protest outside the venue once news of the meeting had spread.
See this week's Cornish Times for more on this.
