Two South East Cornwall Explorer Scouts have gained recognition for achieving the highest standards in Scouting at a Duke of Edinburgh Awards evening.

At the event held at Burraton School, near Saltash, Ebony Curtis and Georgina Smith were not only presented with their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards by Mayor of Saltash Councillor Hilary Frank, they also received the Queen’s Scout Award – the highest in scouting – from County Commissioner Kevin Allen.
