Third place Callington CC played host to league leaders Rodney A and a tight match ensued. Rodney led 2-1 after the team games. They followed this by taking three singles through John Cook, Mike Fluhrer and Norman Yarde. Cricket Club took four through Robbie Liddicott, Ian Webber, Mark Pluckrose and Geoff Craven for a deserved five-all draw.
Second placed SWMC B had Brunel as their visitors. They started strongly, taking all three team games and then four singles through Dennis Briggs, Darren Ware, Eddy Maton and Albert Harris. Brunel took three through Gary Doney, Phil Lopez and Maria O'Brien, but went down 7-3.
Rodney B kept up their challenge for league honours beating visitors Union Inn 7-3.
A local derby between Rod and Line and Notter Bridge saw Notter win the match 6-4.

The four matches all saw some good darts with three of the clashes going the full distance. Callington CC had Notter Bridge as their visitors and starting well, took the first four singles through Robbie Liddicott, Mark Pluckrose. Andy Barriball and Ian Webber. Notter hit back, taking the next four through Mike Wormall, Mark Crute, Gary Rhodes and Colin Gould to level at four-all. The decider saw Cricket Club's S Pain put his team through, beating C Jewess 2-1. Highlight of the evening was a 170 finish for Robbie Liddicott.
League leaders and favourites go out 5-4. Rodney took four singles through Mike and John Fluhrer and Dave and John Callaghan. Rising responded with four through Paul Henderson, Andy May, Jim Morris and John Henn. The decider saw Risings Tony Greenslade put his team through. He beat Rodney's Ken Miller, highlight of a high scoring night was a 180 max from Tony Greenslade.
Old rivals Rodney B and SWMC B met at the Rodney. WMC got on top early on and finished conclusive 6-3 winners. WMC's six winners were Albert Harris, Denis Briggs, Alan Arthur, Darren Ware, Eddy Maton and Syd King. Rodney's three winners were Des Bunney, Peter Matten and Robbie Oak.
Coryton Arms played host to Brunel and won a tight match 5-4. Coryton's winners were Bill Bock, Paul Jones, Brian Hoskins and Phil and Jane Kinsman. Brunel replied with wins from Robbie Ferris, Gary Doney, Enid Crofts and Maria O'Brien.
