Last week in the first matches of the New Year in the match between Dobsons and Rally club the singles were evenly shared 3-3 but Dobsons won all three doubles for a 6-3 win. British Legion were 7-2 winners at home to Highwayman and also winning at home were White Hart B who beat River Rats 5-4 and White Hart A made it an unusual winning double for the Menheniot teams when they beat Fintans 9-0.

This Tuesday, the closest match of the week was at the Legion where Stable Lads were playing the Marquee Club and it was the visitors who ran out 5-4 winners. Rally Club got back on the winning trail with a 6-3 win against visitors White Hart B and after last weeks successes for the White Hart teams things did not go so well this week as the A team were beaten 7-2 by visiting dobsons. River Rats won 8-1 at home to London Inn and Highwayman were also home winners beating Fintan O'Malleys 9-0.
