Out of a total entry of 48 pairs Sylvia & Harry Griffin (Highwayman 'B'), Helen Bottrell & Antony Wilson (Sports Club), Sharon Julian & Nigel Doney (Dobsons) and Wendy Reddicliffe & Pablo Masters (Dobsons) have qualified for the semi finals of the mixed doubles competition. Losing quarter finalists were Wendy Blyth & Francis Julian (Dobsons), Debbie Jefford & Laurie Turner (Highwayman D), Theresa Lowndes & Steve Windmill (Cheesewring) and Kath Carhart & Tim Pound (White Hart A). In his first game of the night Pablo Masters scored two maximum 180's against Jan & Steve Stevens.

Next Wednesday 19th April the qualifying rounds for the doubles competition will be played at A.F.C. Dobsons when all entrants should be present by 7-45p.m. to enable the first round draw to take place and play to start by 8-00 p.m.
