Tonight Friday 31st March the Doubles Competition will be played at AFC Dobsons when all entrants should be present by 8.15 pm when the draw for order of play in the first round will be made. Any entrants not present at this time will not be included in the first round draw and will be excluded from the competition.

Next Friday 7th April, also at AFC Dobsons, the trebles competition will be played when once again all entrants should be present at 8.15 pm.

The four players who will compete in the semi-finals of the Singles Competition are Nigel Doney (Cheesewring A), Francis Julian, Keith Allen and Mike Cook (all Legion B). In the earlier rounds played at AFC Dobsons last Friday Nigel had wins against Pablo Masters (Cheesewring A), Mark Lister (Dobsons) and Jeremy Harris (Legion B) to qualify, Francis beat Lee Gibbs (White Hart A), Dave Barrett and Nigel Stephens (both Sports Club) to reach the semis, Keith Allen won against Mark Blair (White Hart A), Mark Sibley (Cheesewring A), Graham Hoare (Dobsons) and Dave Whitford (Highwayman) while Mike's route to the semi-final was with wins against Steve Hogan (Sports Club), Pete Elliott (Cheesewring A), who scored a 180 and John Bennallick (White Hart A).
