For the fourth week in succession the Highwayman involved in a match which ended with a 6-5 scoreline but different from the other weeks as last Friday they were on the losing side at home to Dobsons.

There was also a 6-5 scoreline at the Market where the home team were winners against White Hart A. The biggest fightback of the week came when the Sports Club were winning 5-1 against British Legion A but then 180 scorer Jan Stevens went on and beat Bill Billing 2-0 in the singles and then the rest of the team followed her example and won the remaining singles for a 6-5 win.

Liberal Club were 8-3 winners at the Halfway; leaders Cheesewring A won 9-2 at White Hart B and British Legion B gained another point on the leaders with a 10-1 win at Cheesewring B.
