Tavistock Hotel clinched the league title on Monday. They gained a good win over visitors Bulls Head. Tavy led 2-1 after the team games and then took five singles through Sheila Liddicott, Pauline Courtis, Molly Bickell, Lorrainne Chesworth and Caroline Hammond. Bulls took two through Hayley Gillett and Margeret Martin to go down 7-3.

Callington SC needed a win to take the runners-up spot. They visited the useful Gunnislake SC A and started well, taking the team games 2-1. They followed this with five singles through Sharon Bell, Wendy Lloyd, Theresa Parr, Phyl Freeman and Angela Howard. Gunny took just two through Pat Davis and Pam Southcott to go down 7-3, which means Callington are runners-up.

Coryton Arms had Stoke Climsland SC B as their visitors. Coryton led 2-1 after the team games and then took six singles through Vicky Finch, Sarah Elton, Tania Bradford, Rose Knight, Amanda Martin and Lindsay Nicholls. Stoke took just one single through Pauline Chapman but went down 8-2.

Stoke Climsland SC A played host to Callington CC. Stoke took the team games 2-1 but then managed two singles through Louise Whittaker and Maureen Webber. Cricket Club took five through Mary Borlase, Ann Benad, Jean Wills and Denise and Jo Hughes for a 6-4 victory.
