A vehicle breakdown, a late start, a 'changing' interval and frequent essential drinks stops punctuated and disjointed Callington's initially promising innings. A final total half of that seen as competitive was soon exposed as paltry and a Poole onslaught left callington toally dislocated.
For the Ivies there was little new to learn and the game should best be remembered as never having happened.
