Saltash v St Austell
Saltash completed an all-too-easy victory over a youthful St Austell team by nine wickets. Somewhat surprisingly, St Austell chose to bat first and were shot out for just 40 runs as no batsman managed to make double figures. The pace of Paul Marshall and Nick Carpenter proved too much as the wickets tumbled backed up by some good catches in the field.
Ross Braund fell early in Saltash's reply but experiences pairing of Richard Durndell and Ian Stevenson ensured Saltash claimed maximum points as they knocked off the runs without hardly breaking sweat.
Saltash (20 pts) beat St Austell (1) by nine wickets.
