CORNWALL Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Lostwithiel, the line rescue vehicle from Bodmin, and water rescue units from St Austell, rescued three cows stuck in a slurry pit yesterday.

Firefighters used rescue paths, rescue lines and were assisted by the farmer’s telehandler to rescue the cows.
