A COUPLE whose plans to tie the knot in Cornwall were undone by COVID are offering a wedding videography package to readers.
Sarah Gosiewska and her fiancé Peter Platel had been due to get married at Polhawn Fort in Whitsand Bay but the first lockdown scuppered their plans.
“To add to this, we had to say goodnight to our rescue dog Prince, who was due to be our page boy. Then my father passed away suddenly,” said Sarah.
“As a result, now, when Covid permits, we will be getting married with just the two of us on what would have been our honeymoon.
“We are donating the wedding videography package that we no longer need, that we’d paid for with DVX photography, to raise money for the animal rescue charities close to our heart.”
Sarah says that people can donate as much as little as they are able and then once the target has been reached, they’ll pull a name from a hat and that person will win the prize.
To visit the donation page and enter the competition, which will benefit the RSPCA and the National Animal Welfare Trust, visit www.uk.virginmoneygiving.com and search for “SJG wedding videography raffle for charity”.
