The Premier League side dominated the match for long spells although they were rocked early on by a 40 yard shot on the turn which was carried by the strong wind over the stranded 'keeper and into the goal.
Soon after Simon Fisher levelled heading home from a set piece. He was on hand to volley home a fierce shot from the edge of the box after good work from Glen Toms. Martin Polatch made it three with a well taken effort latching on to a pinpoint pass from Fisher. On the stroke of half time Fisher completed his hatrick to give his team a comfortable lead.
On the hour Lee Fedrick put Fisher in again to extend the lead. Fedrick made it six scrambling the ball home in a goalmouth tustle. Fisher bagged his fifth of the day to complete the home sides scoring. The visitors scored a consolation goal on the stroke of full time after a defensive error allowed the lone striker to fire home.
This was a fine all round team performance by the Lantoom Park outfit but the man of the match award went to Simon Fisher for an outstanding display not to mention his five goals. The game was sponsored by Jeffery's Estate Agents and the match ball by the Highwayman, Dobwalls.
