Explorer and film-maker Bruce Parry will be visiting the Eden Project on February 20 for a special Rainforest Biome screening of his new film ‘Tawai – A voice from the forest’.
Tawai is the word the nomadic hunter gatherers of Borneo use to describe their inner feeling of connection to nature.
Bruce Parry travels the world to learn from people living lives very different to our own, from the jungles of Malaysia to the tributaries of the Amazon.
The evening will start with a tour of the Rainforest Biome, including the opportunity to meet Bruce, before a screening of the film in the Malaysian area of the Biome.
After the film, Bruce will take a question and answer session.
A ticket to the screening gives access to Eden during the day and also includes canapes, made with plants from rainforest regions.
Bruce is an ex-Royal Marine who has spent his entire life exploring the Earth and immersing himself in forest communities.
His adventures were made famous in the acclaimed BBC series Tribe.
