Very poor was the only way to describe this Launceston performance. Due to injuries and suspensions plus work commitments, they were seven players short.
Launceston went 2-0 up, both goals scored by Andrew Slateford from Andy Hunt corners (getting to be a habit). Despite being 2-0 up the visitors were pretty poor and a sloppy pass on the edge of the box led to Foxhole's first goal and at half-time it was 2-1.
The second half was a minute old when Foxhole equalised and that was the signal for the floodgates to open. During a second half in which credit points were rare, Ray Foy scored a nice goal and Liam Tilley always looked a threat.
Everyone accepted responsibility for a poor performance but it is hoped that will be put right against Foxhole on Saturday and defend an unbeaten home record. (Goals: A Slateford (2), R Foy). MOM: Duncan Barriball.
