MORE than 100 male voices from choirs from all over Cornwall formed a choir for one occasion to raise £1,600 for the Coverack disaster relief fund in a concert at Saltash Wesley Church.

One choir member travelled from Marazion to take part.
Soloists were Michael Burke, instrumentalist (piano) who returned to Saltash to play for the first time in concert in his home town.
Michael studied in Manchester College of Music and as a young boy took part in Saltash Music, Speech and Drama Festivals playing the piano.
The other soloist was William Thompson (Baritone ) a fisherman from St Ives .
