An evening of unplugged acoustic music due to take place near Callington will raise funds for the charity CHICKS, which provides respite breaks for children across Cornwall. The concert is being dubbed ‘Un PAid,’ and will feature performances by singer and guitarist Doc Wallace, the Last Watch shanty singers, pianist and singer Emily Preston, and singer/songwriter John McIntrye. John has organised the gig as he feels CHICKS is a local charity doing important work. ‘My son went on a CHICKS holiday a couple of years ago. It gave him the space to have a bit of peace and quiet and meet other children,’ said John, who performs original folk songs.
