THROUGH the letters pages of the Cornish Times, may I
express my concerns regarding the recent increase in
dogs worrying and attacking sheep in the Caradon Hill
area.
Badly-mauled and dead sheep have been found at
Foredown, Tokenbury and Crows Nest. The moorland is a
natural attraction for local residents and visitors alike, but
a reminder that dogs should be kept under control seems
necessary.
It may appear good fun to watch Fido attempting a version
of the last round-up, but it is more likely to be a deadly
game for the sheep.
