A COMMUNITY open day at Tregoad Park near Looe was the chance for local councillors, businesses and residents to discover the results of a recent £4m investment in the park.

Attendees were given a tour of the holiday park facilities and introduced to key members of Waterside Holiday Group including director, Miranda Jacobs, group general manager, Allen Main, and Tregoad Park general manager, Matt Way.
All the work at the park has been carried out by local contractors and includes the refurbishment of the bar and restaurant, the refurbishment of existing pitches and creation of new pitches, a new enquiry centre, and landscaping works.
The park has recently been awarded a five-star rating by Visit England, and the investment has led to numerous permanent jobs being created. New roles include a restaurant manager, sales manager and additional sales team members, chefs, and maintenance workers.
