Lanreath’s community held a joint celebration this month marking the completion of two funding projects. 

On the Millennium Green, the rebuilding of the retaining wall after it was in imminent danger of collapse, has now been completed.

Villagers are grateful to Viridor for its assistance towards the funding and to Neil Marshall for completing the work.

The village has also received a new community bus thanks to Derek Stephenson, who waded through a mass of paperwork to gain funding, as at present villagers have no access to public transport.
