"Remembrance Day is to be observed on Sunday 14th November by a service an an Act of Remembrance, to be held at the War Memorial, Looe.

Those taking part are asked to be at the Memorial by 10.15am. Those laying wreaths are asked to be at the Guildhall at the same time to join the procession led by the Mayor.

This year the Royal British Legion are once more marking Armistice Day, 11th November, by assembling at the War Memorial at 10.45 am on the 11th and observing two minutes silence at 11 o'clock. Members of the public are asked to join us, and we ask the general public, local businesses, shops, offices and so on to stop for the two minutes silence at 11 o'clock as a moment of reflection."
