There were lots of hugs in store for the Cornish Times mascot Webster the Bear this week when a young competition winner visited the newspaper’s office.

Isabella Thompson, 6, won our children’s colouring competition at the Liskeard Show in July.

The keen young artist, who lives in Saltash, was delighted to receive her prize of an art set including paints, pastels and pencils.

Isabella, who will be going into Year 2 at Bishop Cornish Primary School in September, said that the colouring competition had been her favourite part of Liskeard Show.
