CALLINGTON Community College has again been awarded the title of 'Investor in Careers'. The careers department at the college underwent a vigorous testing and a whole day visit from an assessor back in June. Shaun Newman, Connexions director of development, presented the award to Steve Kenning, headteacher, and Lisa Wood, Pathways Co-ordinator. The college will retain the award until 2007 when it will be tested again to ensure the same high standards are being maintained. Lisa said: 'I am very pleased that we have managed to maintain the Investors in Careers title for the third time. "This award demonstrates our continued commitment to raising aspirations and the future of all our students.'
