A charity that provides respite holidays for children at its South East Cornwall retreat is all set for one of its major fund-raising events of the year.

The annual fund-raising Coastal Path Walk for children’s charity CHICKS, will be held on May 13 and 14.   

This year the walk will stretch from Treyarnon Bay, via Newquay, to Perranporth, a distance of 25 miles to celebrate CHICKS’ 25th anniversary.

Food and accommodation will be provided at the CHICKS Coastal Retreat in Tywardreath, one of three places where the harity provides holidays for disadvantaged children and young carers who may otherwise never get a break.
