Cigarette theft
Five hundred packets of cigarettes with a value of £2,000, plus cash totalling £150 from the till was stolen from the Londis shop in West Looe between the hours of 1am and 7am on Wednesday. The burglars had gained access through a rear door.
Looe police were alerted at 7am by a resident who found a smashed till a few yards away from the shop at the bottom of Chapel Ground Steps. They then discovered the break in.
