GUESTS enjoyed turkey with all the trimmings as Saltash Baptist Church put on Christmas dinner for 42 on December 25.

Volunteers had a busy time preparing, cooking and serving the three courses.

Welcoming people to the church, minister Tim Parkman and his wife, the Rev Michelle Parkman, thanked Waitrose for the food, Bookers for the turkey, and Saltash Co-op for the gifts which were presented to each guest at the meal.

The Saltash Hopper bus provided transport to the event and there were donations from the town’s Rotary Club and other organisations.

The dinner was followed by a a Christmas quiz.
