Sounds of music and the scent of roasted meat drifting through the village brought crowds to the Old Coal Wharf in Polruan for an al fresco concert.
The Polperro Fishermen’s Choir raised more than £1000 for the RNLI with their pig roast event, and this will help to support the local Trent Class lifeboat and inshore inflatable.
The choir and its offshoot, The Wreckers, have raised thousands of pounds for charity this year including significant sums for the RNLI.
While the Wreckers give free performances on most Wednesday evenings in Polperro, the group will also be singing at the Port Isaac Shanty Festival later today (September 8)
