Off to Sri Lanka early next year is 18-year-old Charlotte Green from Gunnislake. She will be part of a team of young volunteers involved in a new scheme 'International Volunteer Exchange'. The scheme is the brainchild of the Prince's Trust and Voluntary Service Overseas and is open to anyone between the ages of 17 and 25. While in Sri Lanka Charlotte and the rest of her team will be involved in the local community welfare project. Prior to the trip she will also spend three months in the Yorkshire village of Brighouse and now has to raise £500 to fund her trip.
