Young performers will be going underground for a celebration concert tomorrow (Saturday March 23).
Around 100 singers, actors and dancers with the Early Energy Centre, all aged between five and 19, will stage their annual ‘This is Me’ concert at the Carnglaze Caverns near St Neot.
Joining the young people on stage will be singer Chloe Carrubba, who has just released her debut single Helter Skelter. Chloe was described by BBC Introducing as having an ‘angelic voice and an impeccably flawless live performance’ when her single aired earlier this year.
Also supporting the young members of Caradon Youth Choir, Dance and Theatre will be a six-piece live band with guest Polly Every.
‘Our groups will be coming together for this special concert celebrating identity and individuality,’ said directors Kate Rogers and Nic Early.
‘We are so excited about the venue being the amazing Carnglaze Caverns.’
The Caverns’ Rum store is known internationally as a music venue and is loved for its unique atmosphere and excellent acoustics.
