Members of the Cawsand Bay Sailing Club gathered for carol singing through Kingsand and Cawsand to raise money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

In the course of their route through both villages, door to door collections raised £270.36.

The route was made more arduous by enforced diversions through The Rising Sun, The Devonport, The Halfway House, and The Cross Keys.

When leaving The Cleave, the flagging singers were gratefully revived by Philip and Sue Willoughby with mulled wine, mince pies and chocolate cake.

Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust says its grateful thanks go to all for their donations.
