THE second anniversary of the launch of the Caradon Trail is to be marked with a walk on Saturday, March 5, led by Brian Oldham of Liskeard’s Walkers are Welcome group. Brian has a good deal of knowledge about the local area so walkers can also expect to hear some of the history about the route they will be following. The walk will set out from Lux Park at 11am and will be along the lanes to St Cleer which is a distance of around three miles. The route back will be via Treworgey Manor, then under the disused mineral railway. Those taking part also have the option to take a bus back to Liskeard from St Cleer. Walkers are asked to come prepared for the weather conditions. Participation is by way of a small donation for group funds. Details are available via contact [email protected]
