Caradon's third string entertained Truro's second team on Saturday and were eager to avenmge the 4-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of their opponents in the last meeting between the sides.
They went into the match on the back of a 3-1 victory over Laun-ceston – and carried that form over when they took the lead after just ten minutes.
Molly Walsh, playing only her second match in senior hockey, capitalised on a mistake by the visiting keeper to slip the ball over the line.
Caradon kept battling and held the upper hand throughout the first half to lead at the break.
The young Truro side came back on the pitch with more vigor in the second period and turned up the pressure.
However, Caradon's defence stood strong and, thanks to some excellent saves from keeper Josie Dudley, maintained their advantage to claim maximum points.
