The winning photograph in a competition to capture ‘Magic Cornwall’ was taken in South East Cornwall.
Lynda Mudle-Small triumphed in the competition run by the Cornwall branch of the CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England).
Lynda’s picture showed moss-covered boulders in the river under a canopy of leaves.
The scene impressed professional photographer Jo Bradford who judged the competition in which people were encouraged to celebrate the beauty and diversity of their local area.
Acting branch chair Nigel Cooper said: ‘We were delighted with the number and quality of entries into our Magic Cornwall competition which shows that people really do value the landscapes and coastal areas that make Cornwall so special.
’Cornwall is unique, so let’s see some responsible decision-making about future development plans to protect Cornwall’s magic for future generations.’
