The campaign to bring a cinema and bowling alley to Liskeard is gathering pace.
Now campaigner Katrina Dawe plans to set up an action group in order to progress with the plans.
Katrina said: 'I feel now there is so much public interest that I need other people to join. Anyone who would like to put their names forward, I would welcome them to write or to email. I'm particularly interested to hear from people with knowledge of funding and grants or experience of talking to investors.'
Many people have written to the Cornish Times since last week's article in support of the campaign.
Katrina says that people have also spoken to her in support. She has been approached by the Liskeard Traders' Association and attended its meeting this week to discuss the campaign.
Petitions will soon be put in shops around the town and Katrina also plans to call a public meeting in the next few weeks where residents will have a chance to have their say and put ideas forward.
She added: 'I'm going to keep on with it, if it takes years I'm going to persevere.'
