Calstock Parish Archive’s new exhibition at Albaston Cemetery chapel shows how life continued at home during the war, digging shelters, watching the blitz over Plymouth, the American soldiers and evacuees from Plymouth and London.

Many people have shared their memories with the archive and this picture shows a picnic at Cotehele Quay during WW2.

The exhibition is open on November 2, 3 and 9 between 10.30am and 4pm. Free admission.
