WORK will go ahead to repair Callington’s town clock. It was discovered in December that fixings attaching the gearing assembly of the south clock dial to the church tower had rusted through, and temporary repairs were carried out.

A quote from The Cumbria Clock Company was circulated to town councillors, and following a brief discussion, it was unanimously agreed to commence with the work needed.
