CALLINGTON teaching hero, Dr Jo Turner has won a prestigious award for her outstanding and inspiring teaching as Chemistry Teacher at Callington Community College.

Dr Jo Turner was presented the Pearson Silver Award for Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School this afternoon, June 21 which also marks National Thank A Teacher Day in front of colleagues, students and a representative from Pearson in a surprise ceremony.
