THE opening of the Wetherspoons pub in the centre of Liskeard has been delayed.

The King Doniert is now due to open in Barras Street a month later than planned, say pub bosses.

Work is progressing on the new building but a delay in the discharge of planning conditions means that the pub will now open on June 19, rather than the May date hoped for by the company.
