Good Housekeeping’s annual Christmas dinner price index reveals that you can feed eight people for under £20 or £2.48 per head. 

In its eighth annual Christmas shopping basket cost survey, Good Housekeeping tracked the price of 11 Christmas dinner essentials and found prices had actually dropped 10.8% since 2009.
