May I take up a couple of points raised by Andrew Field? Dr. John Lennox of Whitfield College Oxford & Fellow of Greenfield Oxford, delivered a lecture last year entitled, "Has Science Buried God?"

This is available on tape from ICC Silverdale Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN20 7AR. He answers many of the issues raised by Andrew.

Also Gary Parker, an American professor of biology, explains why he changed from being a staunch advocate of the theory of evolution to becoming a firm believer in creation. His lecture on video, "From Evolution to Creation", can be borrowed from Philip Warne, a local minister in Liskeard.

Andrew also writes about the god who is silent. The New Testament makes it quite clear that throughout history God has spoken many times and in various ways but now finally he has spoken to us by his Son.

If we will not heed God's loving injunction to, "listen to Him" then we might pray and pray and wait and wait forever.

God has no more to add to what he has already said. Jesus is God's final word to this world.

P.S. Another joke. After listening to the theory of evolution one monkey in the zoo said to another, "Now I'm confused. I don't know if I am my brother's keeper or my keeper's brother!"
