TRAVELLING to Truro with a bare squad of seven, Liskeard Panthers knew they would have a battle on their hands – but they fought hard to achieve a convincing win against St Agnes's third team and maintained second place in the League standings.

The first half was fairly evenly matched between the two sides and, although Panthers started out stronger, a few silly mistakes allowed the home team to claw their way back into the game.
