TWO windows were smashed at Par Track on Tuesday night (August 18) after bricks were thrown through a building at the facility near St Austell.
Following the incident, which took place at around 11.30pm, the management team at Par Track are working closely with the police and are arranging to get the windows repaired.
Police have been provided with CCTV footage of the incident in the hope of identifying those responsible for the late-night act of vandalism.
The site remains fully operational and all classes and activities that are scheduled to take place this week will be going ahead as planned.
A post on Par Track’s Facebook page read: “We’re sorry to let our community know that two of the windows at Par Track were smashed at around 11.30pm last night after bricks were thrown at the building.
“Thankfully, nobody was hurt and all classes and activities are continuing as normal. We are arranging for the windows to be repaired as quickly as possible.
“We are working closely with the police and have provided them with CCTV footage of the incident and we are confident that the footage will assist the police in identifying those responsible.
“We’re incredibly disappointed that something like this has happened at a community facility that is here for everyone, but we won’t let it disrupt what we do.
“We’ll continue to keep the community updated if there are any further developments. Most importantly – all classes are on as normal.”
