At Kensey Vale on Friday, won by Saltash by four shots 24-20. Scores - (Saltash first) D Woolner, J Payne, G Reeves and R Nute beat C Fishleigh, B Green, D Mills and A Sillifane by 24 to 20.

This has been a busy week for Saltash playing in three north east divisional finals and being successful in winning two of them. The club also finished runners-up in the Cornwall County Bowling League Division One. Club captain Rodney Nute said he felt proud to be captain of Saltash at this time.
