Liskeard Bowling Club held their 85th anniversary annual luncheon and trophy presentation at the Hannafore Point Hotel on Sunday October 10.

The Club President George Libby welcomed the bowlers, friends and principal guests William Bennett President ot The Cornwall County Bowling Association and Mrs Brenda Homer, President of the Cornwall County Womens Bowling Association.

The Club was praised for achievements within the County. The Men's 'A' team were North East Division runners up. The Mens B team were North East Division winners, and went on to win the County Nankivell Plate

The Club were East Cornwall Bowling League winners.

R.Ford (sub J. Lennon), S.Parsons, J.Carr and D.Coles were the Dennis Fours winners beating club mates R.Richardson, K.Binfield, P.Edyvean and C.Vellacott in the final.

D.Turner and D.Trundle were runners up in the Spencer Davey Pairs.

The Ladies Rippon 'A' Team won the North East Division and were runners up in the County

Mrs K.Poad and Mrs R.Barrett were runners up in the North East Division Ladies Over 55 Pairs.

The Presidents of the Cornwall County Associations presented the Trophies, and special mention must be made of another hat-trick for Chris Boughton; this time he won the Club Championship for the third year in succesion. Club Trophy winners were -
