Having lost their 100% record five days earlier in a hard fought goalless draw with Chillaton, Gunnislake returned to winning ways with this comfortable victory.
Paul Tomkins opened the scoring on 15 minutes finishing well having been played in by Simon Wakeham. Midway through the half the visitors equalised direct from a 20 yard free-kick.
By the interval Tomkins had restored his team's lead with a brave goal when running onto a Mark Southcott through ball.
Mark Yeoman added a third goal early in the second period before turning provider when his cross was headed home by Neil Kinger. The scoring was completed for the home side when Lee Underwood converted a Tomkins cross.
Pelynt did score a second consolation when late on a speculative long range effort struck the cross bar and the rebound was tapped in by the onrushing attacker.
