With a depleted side, Lanreath travelled to Tintagel a bit on the pessimistic side Persistent rain and a muddy pitch made the going very heavy. Lanreath had several chances to go ahead but failed to convert.

Late in the first half saw some neat football with Massey scoring from close range. At half time Tintagel supplied a well needed cuppa!

After a team talk from Manager Ron Ramos Lanreath started very positively and had chances to go further ahead.

Halfway through the second half Lanreath came under seige for 20 minutes with Tintagel coming close to scoring on several occasions.

With five minutes left Lanreath were awarded a free kick, the ball being passed to skipper Lewie Lewis who fired from 25 yards bending the ball into the top right hand corner.

Lanreath were delighted with the whole team having battled well and deserving their success.

Lanreath are back to full strength for their next game with St Cleer.
