Callington dominated the early part of this match but it was St Teath who went ahead after 15 minutes when a long through-ball got keeper Stewert in two minds, didn't get a clean connection with his kick and St Teath had an easy tap-in.

Callington set about getting back into this quarter-final and a series of attacks went close, hitting the post on two occasions and Andrew Shorten just getting a looping shot just the wrong side of the post with the keeper in no-man's-land. Apart from the odd strong run from St Teath's centre-forward Callington had complete control with Wooley ably assisted by the experienced Foster dominating.

Into the second half and more of the same, Buck going close on a number of occasions, one short just skimming the top of the crossbar. Callington got a deserved equaliser with 25 minutes to go when Farris, running in from a left wing position hit a first time low drive into the corner of the net from a Ruck cross.

Within five minutes, Callington were ahead, Andrew Shorten ran on to a through-ball and in another one-on-one with the keeper held his nerve and slotted the ball into the net. Ruck got himself sent off with 10 minutes to go but Callington held out with stout defending and now look forward to a first semi-final since forming this division.
