A comfortable start for Callington played on the up-graded pitch for South Western League standard. Indeed the facilities are of such a high standard that everyone connected with the project should hold their heads high.
Once Keiran Ruck had put Callington ahead they never looked like losing the lead. The strong running of Darren Barford caught the eye and he finished in fine style following one run. Andy Moy squeezed one over the line before Barford got his second and the scoring was completed when Matt Hawke shot home from 25 yards to seal a comfortable start to the season for the side side.
